Description Sebastien Bacher 2005-06-23 22:08:17 UTC
This bug has been opened here: https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/11234

"When selecting text in the Compose window header fields (To, CC, Subject etc)
and trying to middle-paste the selection, nothing comes out of it. Explicitly
copying text from the fields doesn't work either; when pasting, the previous
clipboard content comes up. This is constantly reproducible."

Try to select To: address and tried to paste in composer works.
Subsequent copy-past is not working.

I've seen this in 2.2.1.1 and 2.2.3 (Gentoo ebuilds).

I can't copy addresses from the composer (To: or Cc: lines), but I can copy text
from the Subject line or message body.

Also, is the currently assigned Product/Component actually correct?
Comment 15 Srinivasa Ragavan 2006-08-23 04:45:15 UTC
Im sure this wont happen IN HEAD. I just dont know why patch http://bugzilla.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=66575&action=view from bug 322239 isnt committed to stable.

The component is EDS/libedataserver ui. I dont know for some reason, Im not able to change that. Is there some acl?
Comment 16 Don Scorgie 2006-08-23 17:46:03 UTC
I've just tried with Evolution 2.7.92. The bug can't be reproduced with that.
Comment 17 Srinivasa Ragavan 2006-09-19 09:49:12 UTC
Fixed. Thanks.
