Distribution: Fedora Core release 4 (Stentz)
Package: nautilus
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.10.0 2.10.0
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: Using sftp in nautilus sometimes causes crash
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: general
Bugzilla-Version: 2.10.0
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.10.0)
Description:
Description of the crash:
Using sftp through nautilus sometimes causes crash. Trying to copy
several folders between two locally connected machines. On some folders,
nautilus crashes. Not systematic. Folders in question contain many small
files (source code, compiled binaries).

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Connect to other machine using sftp://<ip-address>
2. Drag folders from remote folder structure to local folder structure
3. Some folders/files causes crash, not the same in different attempts.

Expected Results:
Expected copy between machines to complete without problems.

How often does this happen?

I do not believe this is the same as 153679, it appears to be the same trace as
bug 314061.

Oops, should have pointed to https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=105823
Comment 4 Martin Wehner 2006-01-26 21:41:22 UTC
Sorry, but I think you looked at the wrong thread. The main one isn't crashing, the gnome-vfs does and matches the stack of bug 153679.
