GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 303339
psd plugins should support path data
Last modified: 2018-05-24 11:31:18 UTC
The psd plugins should be improved so that they load and save path information. Since both photoshop and gimp use b-splines to define paths this should be fairly straight forward.
Wouldn't this depend on the new vectors PDB API (see bug #129598) ?
Not necessarily. gimp_path_set_points is ugly, but it is there and it works and should be enough to do that task.
I don't see why this has been sitting unconfirmed, since it is a very reasonable enhancement request.

If someone could add an PS file with path I would like to test it with the latest Gimp version.
Working paths get imported, this is tested and available in 2.8.
Now it would be great to have the other direction - for those of us that need to produce PSDs.
