Description Alejandro Valenzuela 2005-04-28 03:04:57 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. Obtain the current GTK+ Stable release from
http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html or the one included with GAIM
2. Install it in a Windoze '98SE, then simply open any GTK+ Application
3. The app crashes with a MS-DOS prompt message before showing anything onscreen:

GLib-CRITICAL **: g_strsplit: assertion 'string != NULL' failed

Other information:
The app crashes just the same when compiled for GTK+ 2.4.14 or GTK+ 2.6.4, there
is no difference.
GAIM 1.2.1 and GIMP both crash just the same, only they've hidden their DOS prompts.
