Description Johann Glaser 2004-04-24 20:38:14 UTC
Distribution: Debian testing/unstable
Package: GtkHtml
Priority: Critical
Version: GNOME2.6. unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: GNOME.Org
Synopsis: Evolution mail preview stops working
Bugzilla-Product: GtkHtml
Bugzilla-Component: Rendering
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
Description:
Description of Problem:
Some EMails seem to confuse the mail preview of evolution. Then
Evolution simply stops to display other emails in its preview pane.

I'll add the email source text as an attachment to this bug afterwards.

Evolution starts to display the email, the content then is displayed (at
least most of it) and then the preview pane stops working. The preview
pane is redrawn when a window is placed above it and removed again. One
can scroll, select, ... in it. The Evolution status line says "Mail is
formatted (...)" (or similar, I have the German translation here)

When clicking on other emails the preview pane is not updated with the
newly selected email. When double clicking a mail a window pops up and
the mail is shown. The correct mail.

This seems to happen at very few emails but always the same. I'm not
sure if it _always_ happens at these emails or if it is not 100%
reproducable.
