After upgrading standard RH 9.0 Evolution client to 1.4.3 through Red
Carpet, the calendar only shows task list.

I can confirm this.  I also have Redhat 9.0, Evolution 1.4.3 and I
can't get to the dayview, weekview, monthview, ... I even went so far
as to erase the contents of the "local/Tasks" and "local/Calender"
directories in the evolution directory.  Doesn't make a difference.
