Description chris.anderson 2002-06-20 15:45:51 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Major
Version: 1.0.7.99
Synopsis: Cannot add contact list
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Contacts [was: Addressbook]

Description:
1. The New List menu item is grayed out both in the toolbar and under File->New->Contact List. However, creating a new contact list can be done under File->New->New Contact List. I'm not sure this is a bug, and I'm not sure why there are two entries to create a new contact list under File->New.

2. When I have brought up the add contact list interface, I add names to it by dragging them from the list of contacts. When I click the "Save and Close" button, an error window pops up saying: "Error adding list: Other error", and the list is not added. This IS a bug.

I am running Ximian Evolution version 1.0.7.99 on RedHat Linux 7.1

closing this as a duplicate of 14977, since the bug is the fact that
you can get the contact list editor up to begin with on a backend that
doesn't support contact lists.
