GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 226659
Cannot add contact list
Last modified: 2013-09-10 14:02:48 UTC
Package: Evolution Priority: Major Version: 1.0.7.99 Synopsis: Cannot add contact list Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Contacts [was: Addressbook] Description: 1. The New List menu item is grayed out both in the toolbar and under File->New->Contact List. However, creating a new contact list can be done under File->New->New Contact List. I'm not sure this is a bug, and I'm not sure why there are two entries to create a new contact list under File->New. 2. When I have brought up the add contact list interface, I add names to it by dragging them from the list of contacts. When I click the "Save and Close" button, an error window pops up saying: "Error adding list: Other error", and the list is not added. This IS a bug. I am running Ximian Evolution version 1.0.7.99 on RedHat Linux 7.1 Unknown reporter: chris.anderson@lefthandnetworks.com, changed to bugbuddy-import@ximian.com. Setting qa contact to the default for this product. This bug either had no qa contact or an invalid one.
closing this as a duplicate of 14977, since the bug is the fact that you can get the contact list editor up to begin with on a backend that doesn't support contact lists. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 214977 ***
