GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 222192
Creating contacts from electronic mail addresses
Last modified: 2003-01-16 22:17:48 UTC
Package: Evolution Priority: Wishlist Version: 1.0.2 Synopsis: Creating contacts from electronic mail addresses Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Mailer Description: I really like the feature of right-clicking on an address in an electronic mail message that I'm composing to create a new contact, but I have a suggestion. I've found that when Evolution finds an existing contact that is similar to the one I'm adding, it's because I've already added a contact for this person without an electronic mail address. Rather than just letting me choose whether I want to add a new contact with the electronic mail addres, it would sure be nice if I was also given the options to either replace the existing contact's electronic mail address or to add the new electronic mail address to the existing contact. Unknown reporter: David.Walker@ucop.edu, changed to bugbuddy-import@ximian.com.
believe it or not, this is actually an addressbook feature request.
