balance sheet and P/L statements balances wrong for stock trades
Last modified: 2018-06-29 20:50:53 UTC
Please describe the problem: After doing stock trade sales. The Balance sheet and P/L statements wrongly calculate the brokerage. sometimes doubling it which makes Balance sheet mismatch and shows extra expenses in P/L statement Steps to reproduce: 1. Create stock account and bank account 2. Buy a stock transferring monies from the bank also deducting brokerage 3. Sell the stock at profit. return monies to the bank less brokerage. 4. Add balancing entry for capital gains 5. Create balance sheet and P/L statement reports Actual results: The brokerage seems to be summed twice in the reports( especially for the sell transaction) Expected results: The brokerage should be calculated only once for the stock trade transaction Does this happen every time? Yes, the amount change various as multiple stocks and transactions (sell at profit/loss) take place Other information:
