The gnome-volume-manager stack trace appears to be unique.
Comment 2 Luke Hutchison 2004-11-10 03:00:21 UTC
I haven't seen this since, either, so it may have been a problem with some of
the Project Utopia packages in the fedora-development channel that has since
been fixed.
Comment 3 Vincent Noel 2004-11-19 15:24:53 UTC
The eggcups part has also been reported in bug 158683.

Comment 5 Luke Hutchison 2004-11-29 14:15:53 UTC
Actually, I just saw this same crash on a fresh install of FC3 on a totally
different machine -- both hal and eggcups crash (I'm assuming the bt is the
same, although bug-buddy isn't catching the signal in time to generate a bt this
time). This machine has stock FC3 packages with all updates installed. I think
the crash only happens since updating to the most recent FC3-updates packages.
Reproducibility = 100% on login. Let me know if I need to do something else to
debug this, while I can still reproduce it.

I'm pretty sure this is the prelink problem. The updated prelink rpm for Fedora
that was made available towards the beginning of December should fix this issue.
If it doesn't, please let us know and reopen the bug.
