Description wallex 2004-04-10 04:05:52 UTC
I noticed this weird behavior... my dock windows has the focus, I am inside the
"Devices, Navigation, Layers" window, the layer section has the focus.. yet when
I hit ctrl+ any of the keys, it won't work.
Ctrl+x doesn't cuts the layer
ctrl+c doesn't duplicates the layer
ctrl+n doesn't creates a new layer
and so on.. I did notice that shift n/p and control n/p would change the focus
of the selected layer (as if I were pressing up/down on the keyboard!). So what
gives...? I realize this likely is a duplicate and other people must have bumped
into it, but I suck at doing a search around this bugzilla thing (where's the
help for it? Or at least how do I browse all the gimp-bugs for a certain
category -ie tools-? This is driving me mad and no matter how I define the
search to locate similar bugs, I always get zarro boogs found).

If it's of any help, the window in question has two sections:
Upper one: Device Status, Display Navigation, Layers (focused), Channels, Paths
Lower one: tool options (selected), FG/BG color, brushes, patterns, gradients,
fonts

Oh.. and has anyone suggested that the FG/BG Color tab should display the ACTUAL
fg/bg color rather than white/black? I really like that feature on the gradients
and layers tab.
