Description Ole Laursen 2003-11-17 21:43:23 UTC
In embed/mozilla/GtkNSSDialogs.cpp:336 there is the string

"Your browser was unable to trust %s."

I found this difficult to translate, and I think the average user would
find it a bit difficult to understand - what has the browser's personality
to do with anything? What about:

"It was not possible to automatically establish a trust relationship with
%s."

Or something like that. My Danish is better than my English. But you get
the idea.
Comment 1 Crispin Flowerday (not receiving bugmail) 2003-11-18 21:17:17 UTC
The problem is trying to keep the text size small, and the concept of
a "trust relationship" is almost certainly going to be lost to the user.

Maybe "It was not possible to automatically trust %s." may be better.

CC'ing myself as this is shared galeon/epiphany code.
Comment 2 Ole Laursen 2003-11-18 22:01:02 UTC
Yes, that is definitely much better than what it says now, IMHO.
Comment 3 spark 2004-03-29 20:28:53 UTC
