Description Bastien Nocera 2003-08-10 23:24:20 UTC
gnome-python programs like the rhn-applet can't seem to be able to connect

Comment 2 Christian Reis (not reading bugmail) 2003-08-11 00:21:18 UTC
That version is pretty old. Have you tried 1.99.17, at least?
Comment 3 Bastien Nocera 2003-08-11 07:57:46 UTC
Upgrading isn't an easy matter. Does the testcase pass with a more
recent version?

I think this bug is related to bug 117421, but haven't verified it.
It should work with the libgnome-2.3.6, or the latest CVS of the
gnome-2-2 branch. You could also apply the patch attached to the bug.

Does this sound likely?
Comment 5 James Henstridge 2003-08-12 13:59:03 UTC
If that is the problem, I'll mark the bug as a duplicate of bug
109407, which we were tracking the gnome-python problem with.
