Description Todd Kulesza 2003-01-27 18:25:48 UTC
Package: gnome-panel
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.2.0 2.2.0
os_details: Gnome.Org
Synopsis: Panel crash while not interacting with Panel
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel
Bugzilla-Component: Panel
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.2.0.1)
Description:
Description of Problem:
The panel just crashed while I was browsing the GNOME website with
Mozilla 1.2.1. As far as I can tell, I didn't do anything to trigger
it--a web page was loading, and then the standard GNOME Error dialog
popped up saying the gnome-panel had segfaulted.

How often does this happen?
This is the first instance of this problem, but since it generated a
backtrace, I figured I'd submit it.

Additional Information:
Current config: One menu panel with launchers for Nautilus, Terminal,
and Mozilla, the system monitor applet, the weather applet, the
notification area, and the clock. One edge panel with the Show Desktop
button, pager, and window list.

Debugging Information:

Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-panel'

This seems to match the stack trace in bug 101953, and Luis seems to
concur.
