(Reassigning to General, as this is a programming error)
I notice these are all shapes that use text, while the Ethernet
bus, which doesn't, isn't included. Can you do simple Text
elements without crashing? I suspect the problem is in font
setup.
Comment 2 samw 2002-11-05 22:54:33 UTC
Hmm, it seems that simple Text elements also crash it.

I'm using:
XFree86 4.2.1-2,
xfs 4.2.1-2
xfs-tt 1.3.0.xf420-8
gdm 2.2.5.5-2
blackbox 0.65.0-1

I don't seem to be having a problem with fonts in other applications,
but I know font managemnet in debian unstable has been changed recently.

What fonts does dia depend on?

Cheers,

Sam.

this bug does not seem to occur on windows
but as Lars already seems to think it is Font related this information
is not really of any use.
i went to the trouble of checking so i may as well let you know.

Deleting the PLEASEFIX keyword everywhere. All bugs are implicitly a 'please
fix'. :) If more specifity is needed, use the target milestone feature in
bugzilla. Ask bugmaster@ if you have any questions about this. Thanks!
