Gnome Terminal can no longer execute

Package: gnome-core Severity: major Version: 1.4.1 Synopsis: Gnome Terminal can no longer execute Bugzilla-Product: gnome-core Bugzilla-Component: gnome-terminal Description: I was running gnome-core-1.4.0.8-1.ximian.2 and had a number of launchers with commands of the following type gnome-terminal -e "ssh -l username host" since upgrading to gnome-core-1.4.1-1.ximian.4 all these launchers have stopped working and are giving a 'file not found error' when the terminal starts up. on the odd occasion that that doesnt happen I get a message on the console: Error: unable to fork: Success and a gnome window that pops up saying could not allocate tty, if you are using linux 2.2 and glibc 2.1 it prob means unix98 ttys not configured properly my system is a redhat 7.2 box with all the relevant redhat updates with ximian gnome desktop installed ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2002-06-24 02:21 ------- The original reporter (aashley@optimiser.com) of this bug does not have an account here. It works for me if I lose the quotes. I'll see what changed in there in the latest release.
Does it work for you if you remove the quotes?
