If you have a short blockquote like 

> I like bananas

Geary will still show the clickable button/bar at the bottom of the quote with the "v v v" arrows indicating it can be expanded... except that clicking them does nothing (because the quote has nothing more to expand), which is confusing and counterproductive to the user as it creates a fake visual signal (and thus lessens the value of that expander button when there actually is something to expand)

Hi Jean-François, yeah after the WebKit2 transition the code for handling this is pretty flaky. Since mostly covered/caused by Bug 778024, I'm going to mark this as a duplicate.
