GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 785339
Cannot open url's using touchscreen
Last modified: 2017-07-26 14:20:04 UTC
likely related to: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=784547 ## Current Behaviour * Clicking on hyperlinks (for example gedit -> Info -> www.gedit.org) doesn't work when using the touchscreen. Only a cursor appears at the position of the click ## Expected Behaviour * Clicking on hyperlinks using the touchscreen has the same effects as doing it with the mouse ## System Antergos x64 Gnome 3.24.2
Does this only happen in GtkTextView or generally, e.g. does `gtk3-demo --run=links` and pressing those links work?
Antergos user here... "text" and "google" links from gtk3 demo work with touch screen. The links from gedit about dialog dont work. I use Wayland session
`gtk3-demo --run=links` doesn't work with my touchscreen. With `gtk3-demo --run=hypertext`, links can be used. Using `GTK_DEBUG=interactive` to simulate a touchscreen, doesn't reproduced the problem on my system. I also run with a Wayland session, the computer is a XPS 15 Touch (i7-6700)
