Description Allan Day 2017-03-28 16:35:12 UTC
There are various different tiles in Software. The ones on the landing page are in good shape, but most of the others (in the different categories) don't look very good at all. The different types of add-ons are particularly bad.

This mockup includes designs to improve the layout and presentation of each of the different types of tiles:

This also fixes the problem of having identical apps that are from different sources, since there is space to show the domain of the repository.

Bug 767097 is strongly related to this one, but the tile layouts could be changed independently of that issue.

There is new design work for this issue taking shape at https://wiki.gnome.org/Design/Apps/Software/TileDesign . However, it's not complete right now.
