GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 779783
Filled text box shifts right and cuts off last character of each line
Last modified: 2018-05-24 17:32:57 UTC
When using the "filled" option for text justification in a "fixed" box, the text is cut off on the right side at the edge of the last character of each line. The bug is triggered specifically when certain letters that have a tiny overhang to the left, such as the letter "j", begin a line of text, making everything in text box shift just a hair to the right, leading to the cut off text. The bug occurs and can be reproduced with the use of at least three different fonts: Adobe Garamond Pro, Adobe Caslon Pro, Gentium Basic Book. I've never reported a bug before, so I hope I've done this right. :)
