GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 774172
Endlees loop with Google CalDAV
Last modified: 2016-11-10 14:03:27 UTC
My calendar-factory seems to be stuck in an endless loop... > OPTIONS /caldav/v2/dwmw2%40infradead.org/events/ HTTP/1.1 > Soup-Debug-Timestamp: 1478733434 > Soup-Debug: SoupSessionSync 1 (0x563fa34f24c0), SoupMessage 1016 (0x7fcfb40071a0), SoupSocket 1016 (0x7fd004003420) > Host: apidata.googleusercontent.com > User-Agent: Evolution/3.18.5 > Connection: close > Authorization: Bearer ... < HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden < Soup-Debug-Timestamp: 1478733434 < Soup-Debug: SoupMessage 1016 (0x7fcfb40071a0) < Vary: X-Origin < Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 < Date: Wed, 09 Nov 2016 23:17:14 GMT < Expires: Wed, 09 Nov 2016 23:17:14 GMT < Cache-Control: private, max-age=0 < X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff < X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN < X-XSS-Protection: 1; mode=block < Server: GSE < Alt-Svc: quic=":443"; ma=2592000; v="36,35,34" < Accept-Ranges: none < Vary: Origin,Accept-Encoding < Connection: close < < Daily Limit Exceeded. The quota will be reset at midnight Pacific Time (PT). You may monitor your quota usage and adjust limits in the API Console: https://console.developers.google.com/apis/api/caldav/quotas?project=923794261470 It's doing this over and over again in quick succession; I think I'd better kill it. When I refresh the calendar through the UI, it shows nothing at all; just doesn't update. No hint of the error is shown. When I try to add or delete a calendar event, I get an 'Authentication required' error. This is in Fedora 23. I tried in 3.20.x on Fedora 24, and it's worse there. When I try to add the Google calendar by enabling that slider in GOA, an error *flashes* up in Evolution but disappears instantly, and the Google calendars aren't in the list.
Please do not file bugs against such old versions. There is nobody having time to re-investigate the issue there. There are filled "many" bugs about this already. You might specifically look at bug #773248 and bug #771547 among others. The evolution-list thread [1] explains some details.
