Description Mildred 2016-10-17 08:14:15 UTC
This is just an option to add, the xkb part is already there.

You just need to set the dconf key org.gnome.desktop.input-sources.xkb-options to ['compose:102'].

You can also add other missing options (taken from /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/compose)

- compose:lwin
- compose:rwin-altgr
- compose:menu-altgr
- compose:rctl-altgr
- compose:lctl-altgr
- compose:caps-altgr
- compose:102
- compose:102-altgr
- compose:paus

In GNOME 3.22, we moved the configuration to gnome-tweak-tool (bug 770955), and will be considering how to re-add it to the keyboard panel in 3.24 (bug 771009).

Moving as a duplicate of bug 771009, so you can keep track of the new code.
