GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 765400
Unable to copy file using drag and drop, only move is availabl
Last modified: 2020-11-14 09:12:28 UTC
When using drag and drop to move/copy files around from the thumbnail view to the folder pane, only Move is available. Default action with only drag and drop is to 'Move' Pressing the Alt key changes the icon to have a ? symbol, and after releasing the mouse button, a dialog comes up to prompt the user on what action that want to take - Copy, Move or Link. However, Copy and Link are greyed out and unavailable This occurs with both 3.4.1 as installed by Ubuntu 16.04; or with 3.4.3 as installed from a PPA.
Can confirm for 3.6.0 compiled from source on Ubuntu 16.04.
