Previously this would cycle through all open windows in a desktop.  Now it takes you back to the previous window that was in view only and fails to cycle through other open windows on the desktop.  Switch windows still operates as intended but of course adds an extra graphic and is not "direct".  I double checked that the Switch windows directly shortcut was not a key sequence mapped to anything else, that is I tried various shortcuts to operate this function.

This is implemented in mutter, not in gnome-control-center.
