Using gtk 3.18.7 on Ubuntu, the assistant page have no marging/padding, the result is that e.g the "next" button is in the corner

That's probably due to

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=750631 which is corresponding bug states 
"Unfortunately, I'm not convinced this is compatible enough - it will visually break quite a few assistants out that that assume the padding."

That seems to be a summary of the issue ... if it was decided to go this way, should the notes mention it and the demo be updated to show how the padding should be done from the client code?
