Description James Andrew Jaworski 2016-01-19 03:40:12 UTC
In other e-mail programmes, if one drags and drops an image or selects it from a menu option, an image file (JPG, PNG, GIF) can be added to the body of the outgoing message.

If I drag and drop an image from the file manager I see a localized URL but no graphic image.

Please add this functionality to Geary.

This would indeed be good to have.

+1 for these feature.

I've added a similar case for pasting images directly from clipboard.

Bump tickets to 0.14 that aren't going to make 0.13.

Fixed on mainline by https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/geary/merge_requests/343. This will be released in 3.36.0.
