Crashreporter entry for the hang described.

I have upgraded my Macbook Pro to OS X El Capitan.
The previous day I installed Gnucash 2.6.8 into the previous OS (OS X Yosemite) and it worked as expected.

After the installation of the latest OS, when I execute Gnucash, the splash screen comes up, stating "Loading...".
In addition, a black window opens in the top left of the screen. Nothing further happens and the app will hang until force quitted.

Attached is one of the crash reports - one that I left to hang for a particularly long time to make sure.

This behaviour is consistent each time I try to run the app by double clicking on it.
The same thing happens if I click on a .gnucash data file.
