The sidebar of Shotwell cannot be resized properly. It is not possible to drag the sidebar with the mouse cursor smaller than the longest entry in the events section. Please see the attached screenshot. I created an event called "test------->" to demonstrate this bug.

I am using Shotwell 0.20.2 running on Ubuntu 15.04.

Hi Moritz,

thanks for reporting the issue. It has been fixed in the latest release of shotwell, version 0.22. If Ubuntu does not provide the latest release, you could use the shotwell PPA.

For reference, Bug 718611 has some information on the changes made: We lowered the minimum sidebar width and also ellipsized the text, meaning longer text will be shortened to fit the sidebar.
