GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 748084
Outline border overlaps the window title
Last modified: 2015-04-17 22:14:33 UTC
Created attachment 301877 [details] Screenshot in X session showing the bug. When I hover over the mouse to any window in overview mode, the blue outline overlaps the window title, making the text unreadable. See the attached screenshot for details. Environment: Gnome-shell: 1.16.1 Session: gdm-x-session Video card: Nvidia GK107GLM [Quadro K1000M] Video driver: nouveaou Kernel version: 3.19.3 Linux distribution: Arch Linux
Created attachment 301878 [details] Screenshow from the same window without the outline.
The window title is supposed to be *below* the window - are you using any extensions?
I turned on the "Native window placement" extension which seems to be responsible for this. Without it the title is displayed well as you described.
