GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 743170
Follow the wireframes on Smart Playlists
Last modified: 2016-01-06 12:53:26 UTC
See https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gnome-design-team/gnome-mockups/master/music/wire-smart-playlists.png We might make it slip in 3.16
I've just posted some updated designs for this: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gnome-design-team/gnome-mockups/master/music/wire-playlists.png https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gnome-design-team/gnome-mockups/master/music/wire-playlists-add.png https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gnome-design-team/gnome-mockups/master/music/wire-playlists-editing.png Note that starred tracks are no longer listed under the playlists section - the suggestion is to show these at the top of the songs view.
Updated visual guidance: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gnome-design-team/gnome-mockups/master/music/windowed-playlists.png
This bug doesn't need to be implemented all in one go, so it probably makes sense to split it out into separate tasks: * Bug 760207 - Editing playlist tracks - use a context menu rather than selection mode * Bug 744822 - Playlist renaming * Bug 760208 - Revamp the smart playlist UI * Bug 744834 - Remove 'New Playlist' entry, introduce a textbox and a button
And this one too: * Bug 760211 - Allow undo when removing tracks from playlists
