GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 730104
print to PDF: can't replace file
Last modified: 2014-05-14 06:59:44 UTC
Created attachment 276505 [details] Replace file? Only choice is "Cancel". Attempting to print to a PDF file, I get a window that says the file already exists (I already know that), do I want to replace it? (Yes, I do). But the only choice I am given is "Cancel". Workaround: manually delete the file before attempting to print to it. Gnumeric 1.12.13, SolydX 201405.
Further testing: not a Gnumeric bug, happens with eog as well. Not a CUPS bug, works fine in IceWeasel and other apps. Searched https://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?classification=__all but could not find a classification for gnome printing. Really dumb box (see attachment), don't know who to blame. Please reassign.
Which version of gtk are you using? I don't see this with 3.8.
Roland Latour wrote "I tried gtk-options and gtk-launch, neither has a -v option. The apropos command didn't help, and 'apt-cache search gtk' gave me a deluge. So how do I determine what version of gtk I am using?" dpkg -l | fgrep libgtk-3 should give you an idea
This is a knwon (and fixed) gtk-3.10 bug.
