Crash sooner when auto importing ("watch library ..." option activated). The log and trace are enclosed. Related issues: duplicates shotwell - 5252: Core dump in dca_syncinfo() in libdca (Fixed) ---- Additional Comments From shotwell-maint@gnome.bugs 2013-05-01 11:46:00 -0700 ---- ### History #### #1 Updated by Clinton Rogers 9 months ago * **Description** updated (diff) * **Keywords** set to _libdca_ Mr. Boullion: On the machine where this is happening, can you let me know if you have gstreamer-plugins-bad installed? I ask because a while ago, we had [something nearly identical](http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/5252) to this get reported, and I believe these may be the same bug. If you feel comfortable running a daily build, can you try either [building and running from our git repository](http://yorba.org/shotwell/install.html) (or, if you're on a Ubuntu-based distribution, using one of the packages found [here](https://launchpad.net/~yorba/+archive/daily-builds/+packages) and let us know if that helps? (Please note that this will update your GStreamer installation as part of Shotwell's dependencies.) #### #2 Updated by Jim Nelson 9 months ago * **Status** changed from _Open_ to _5_ * **Resolution** set to _duplicate_ I'll go even farther and call this a duplicate of #5252. This will be fixed in the next release of Shotwell, version 0.14. If you want to try it now, you can build and install Shotwell from our git repo or, if you're using Ubuntu or a derivative, install from our Daily Build PPA: https://launchpad.net/~yorba/+archive/daily-builds/ #### #3 Updated by Manuel Bouillon 9 months ago Thanks for your quick answer, and sorry for my late response! I do have gstreamer-plugins-bad installed, and this bug is indeed fixed with version 0.14. #### #4 Updated by Charles Lindsay 7 months ago * **Status** changed from _5_ to _Duplicate_ --- Bug imported by chaz@yorba.org 2013-11-25 21:59 UTC --- This bug was previously known as _bug_ 6422 at http://redmine.yorba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6422 Imported an attachment (id=262628) Imported an attachment (id=262629) Unknown Component Using default product and component set in Parameters Unknown version " in product shotwell.
