The list view looks weird when focused as you can see in the attached image.
When the window is unfocused, the app looks normal.

I'm running Arch Linux 64 bit.
This bug is also present in the list view of Bijiben Notes.

I have exactly the same issue, some things I noticed, when gnome-documents loses focus, the problem is fixed. It looks like a redraw issue.
