Description Jakub Steiner 2013-05-30 14:55:48 UTC
The issue is likely caused by the different dimensions of the icon and the generated thumbnail. We should probably change the icon to a placeholder image sharing the same height. The issue is quite annoying - enter a folder with many images with the intent to create a selection in the middle to delete. The constant movement interfers with creating the rubberband select and even simple selects.

I think icon view should simply have a static, homogeneous grid and instead of being flexible.

Funny thing, I just run into the original bug today while triaging another icon view bug.
