Description Nirbheek Chauhan 2013-05-25 06:00:42 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

1. Ctrl+Alt+L
2. Switch to a VT, `killall -SIGSEGV gnome-shell`
3. Switch back, and behold. Unlocked session.

This is a contrived example to demonstrate gnome-shell's respawn behaviour, but I've seen this happen a couple of times due to normal crashes at the lock screen.
