It appears that the intention of doxygen is to enclose exception documentation in a box but the box is incomplete as shown in my attached PDF file.

I had a look in the generated tex files and there are different environments defined for "Parameters", Template Parameters", "Exceptions". This is OK so different appearances can be created. When using for "Exception" the same environment as for "Parameters" (DoxyExceptions and DoxyParams) the results look OK.
This bug is more or less identical to bug_699732.

I don't really see what you mean with "the box is incomplete" when looking at the PDF. Where do I have to look? what should I see, and what did you expect to see?
