GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 692223
"Sharing" should also use sshd.socket
Last modified: 2015-07-27 16:13:43 UTC
In "Sharing", the "Remote Login" switch should enable 'sshd.socket' on systems where this unit exists (e.g. Arch Linux), instead of 'sshd.service' everywhere. There is no need to run a permanent SSH daemon on desktops which receive connections infrequently.
It's possible to override which systemd service will be used with the changes from bug 751326. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 751326 ***
