Description Bastien Nocera 2013-01-13 23:34:56 UTC
gnome-shell-3.7.3.1-1.fc19.x86_64

1. sleep 5; xrandr -o left
2. Pop down the calendar menu
3. Wait for xrandr to take effect
4. See the menu pointing in the wrong place
Comment 1 Giovanni Campagna 2013-01-14 21:46:26 UTC
This is not really a rotation issue, it happens with resolution changes too.
Comment 2 Dominique Leuenberger 2013-11-25 10:15:46 UTC
The same can still be observed in GNOME 3.10.1.. with the increased popularity of 'tablet' like devices and 'swivel screen' devices, this becomes more visible as an issue.
Comment 3 Alexandre Franke 2016-12-08 22:14:15 UTC
Happens on Wayland too.
Comment 4 GNOME Infrastructure Team 2021-07-05 14:36:53 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
