GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 689051
Make default sort order of the journal view configurable
Last modified: 2018-06-29 23:12:04 UTC
I use to manually assign an incrementing number to any voucher entered into GnuCash. My prefered way of entering new records is the journal. Using GnuCash this way, it is quite annoying that the preferred sort order ("by number") is not preserved between sessions. Every time I open the journal, I first have to change the sort order via the menu. It would be great if there was some way to change this behaviour, either by configuring the default order, or just by preserving the order chosen when the journal window gets closed.
Together with the default (or latest) sort order, the "filter" (i.e., which records should be displayed in the Journal) should be persistent across sessions as well.
