Description Hideyuki Fukui 2012-05-15 08:40:01 UTC
Banshee creates duplicate playlists on my iPod every time I sync the iPod with the library (i.e. when I connect my iPod to my machine 10 times and sync, 10 identical playlists are created on my iPod). I am not sure the specific Banshee version that brings this issue, but I recall this issue has been seen since summer 2011.

I noticed that Banshee DOES recognizes music and movies in the iPod, but DOES NOT recognize playlists within the iPod, when I connect my iPod. So I guess Banshee is trying to create new playlists every time syncing iPod.

Yes, but the same user reported the same bug actually. So this is duplicate of bug 674835, which in turn may be a duplicate of #675678, but is marked as NEEDINFO to verify.
