Which button exactly are you referring to? The one displayed in the contact list when no account are configured?
Is 'empathy-accounts' running when you are hiting this bug?

Exactly, this button, but also the edit -> accounts is not responding when happens.


ps -e | grep empathy-accounts doesn't show anything.

Ok, so I guess empathy-accounts is crashing.
Could you try running "EMPATHY_DEBUG=all empathy-accounts" when you ar experiencing this issue?

The next time it happens to me I have to write this in the console?
if so, after that, I have to give you the debug information in help->debug?

yeah run it in a console. No need to use the help->debug tool, the debug output will be printed in the console.

Nothing happens with the issue and running EMPATHY_DEBUG=all empathy-accounts, seems that empathy-accounts is not running.

The fit.txt doesn't contain anything because the output is nothing.
I tried to run empathy-accounts, but it couldn't run.
Each command, take 20 seconds to output nothing.

  EMPATHY_DEBUG=all G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all empathy-accounts

now I'm experiencing this bug Bug 675669 also.
But this bug (current thread bug Bug 675668) also happens when I see people connected etc.
So I will put this in the two cases.

Also, before all of this I get an error (by apport-gtk of ubuntu) telling me that telephaty failed with crash.
