GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 674625
Make Wacom support optional on any architecture
Last modified: 2012-04-23 14:42:06 UTC
Created attachment 212606 [details] [review] Proposed patch against current git The fix [1] for bug #672576 disables Wacom support on s390/s390x yet packagers may want/need to disable Wacom support on other archs as well. Beside, I am not sure that testing for architecture in the configure script is the best approach to the problem. The attached patch against current git adds a configure option to make Wacom support optional and removes arch specific tests. That would make Wacom support optional (but enabled by default) like, for example, packagekit or smartcard support. I still don't want to make it optional though. Why would I want to disable it on other arches?
There's no wacom devel bits on your platform because the Xorg SDK isn't getting built because no X servers are getting built. Given that I don't see any reasons for gnome-settings-daemon to even be built on such a platform, I'll close this as a duplicate of the original bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 672576 ***
