Description William Jon McCann 2012-03-28 19:17:26 UTC
We should probably consider using a different icon to match the form factor (and orientation) of the primary display.
Comment 1 Jakub Steiner 2012-03-29 13:04:14 UTC
So does it make sense to add complexity in adding form factors (laptop, tablet, anything else?) or do we just drop the stand so that it's more abstract/general and applies better to all form factors?
Comment 2 Bastien Nocera 2012-03-29 13:06:27 UTC
I'd go for the latter (a single more generic option).
Comment 3 William Jon McCann 2012-03-29 13:23:11 UTC
I think if we are using this to communicate what the effect is then we should probably be doing a better job of making it look as much like the system as possible. We can probably get away with using a more generic bezel if we also add the GNOME 3 top bar and match the orientation.

I'll open a new bug for not matching the orientation.
Comment 4 Bastien Nocera 2012-08-22 14:27:07 UTC
This is fixed by the background selection panel redesign in GNOME 3.6.
