Hi,

first I'd like to say that I am overall very pleased with the new GNOME theme, especially with the darker variant used for eog and totem. But one thing that disturbs me is how hard it is to differentiate expanded combo boxes from their background. As an example, please have a look at the attached screenshot which shows Epiphany's choice for a Download folder. It is really hard to tell what belongs to the combo box and what does not, because it is simply overlaying the background without visual delimitation.

That said, it's just as bad or even worse with the dark theme. Please see the screen shot of totem's visualization plugins dialog above.

Is this fallback mode ? It is a known problem that our menu theming relies on the compositor to draw a shadow for the outline.
