GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 656239
HTML rendering of Outlook email does not show formatting/colors
Last modified: 2011-08-09 21:01:47 UTC
Created attachment 193501 [details] Sample mbox with two sections I've attached screenshots from Outlook 2007 and Evolution 2.32.2 and a sample mbox that demonstrates that message formatting is lost in Evolution. This is especially important when users use color coded messages for response sections. When they're all the same color, it make it very difficult to read the message. When 'Prefer plain text' plugin is enabled, I use the "Show HTML if present" option. When I disabled the plugin entirely, I still the problem. Running Evolution 2.32.2 on Ubuntu 11.04 with following ldd-related deps: libgtkhtml-3.14.so.19 libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 libgtkhtml-editor-3.14.so.0
