GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 649812
Authentication dialog needs accessibility support to enter passwords
Last modified: 2014-04-26 18:13:07 UTC
gnome-shell's authentication dialog needs support for accessibility, at least for the onscreen keyboard in order to add the password on tablet devices. Similar problem as in bug 347721 and bug 308533.
I have the same problem in Gnome 3.10.1 on Ubuntu 13.10 with my tablet. I tried with GOK and with Onboard too. Once the dialog is visible, i can't press any keys on the onscreen keyboards.
