Description Ole Laursen 2011-04-08 19:17:06 UTC
It would be nice if I could press a combo (Ctrl-enter or Alt-enter or Shift-enter) to always start an application up when I've found it with the instant search feature in the overview. I don't think that's possible in the overview without using the mouse right now.

Right now I can hit enter to launch, but it only works for the first instance - next time it switches to it instead (which I find a bit confusing, but nevermind).

That instant search is a brilliant idea, by the way. :)

Thought this already was filed, but can't find a duplicate. Control-Enter would be natural since control-click on a launcher opens a new window rather than activating an existing window.

I think it's bug 613082 which even has a patch.
