Description dotanpo 2011-04-07 21:30:09 UTC
when you play video with subtitles, in some players if the new subtitle start before the previous subtitle ends, it show the new one above the previous subtitle and this is very confusing to follow.

It will be very helpful to have an option that will check automatically if the previous subtitle ends after (or equal) the next subtitle start and correct it by reduce the end of the previous subtitle to the minimum time before the next subtitle start.

thank you.

Thanks for the report.

Bug #439832 proposes a dialog to show errors with subtitles and automatically correct them. I've included your suggestion there.
