GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 646426
Thumbnails jump left and right when scrolling through the pages
Last modified: 2015-10-16 21:02:30 UTC
Created attachment 184859 [details] Before scrolling slightly When scrolling up and down in a .pdf, by grabbing the scrollbar-handle (the scrollbar thumb) with the left mouse button, the thumbnails jump back and forth, horizontally. Attaching two screenshots of the phenomenon. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a .pdf in evince, for instance this one: http://plan9.bell-labs.com/sys/doc/comp.pdf 2. Grab the scrollbar-handle (thumb) with the left mouse button, and drag slowly downwards. 3. Notice that the page-thumbnails on the left hand side jumps back and forth. Expected behavior would be for the thumbnails to only move vertically when scrolling vertically, not horizontally. I'm using Evince 2.32.0 on 64-bit Arch Linux. My window manager is pekwm and my theme for the gnome controls is "Glossy". Thanks.

Same here. Evince 3.0.2, Fedora 15 (3.0.2-1.fc15). Attached a video showing the problem.
Still an issue in Evince 3.2.1.
