Description pupok 2001-11-08 19:51:52 UTC
Package: gnome-core
Severity: normal
Version: 1.4.0.4
Synopsis: panel won't start
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-core
Bugzilla-Component: panel

Description:
I submitted a similar bug yesterday.

Essentialy, panel does not start when my desktop starts up. When the debug window comes up, if i hit cancel panel apparently tries to start again, the error dialog comes up again, ad infinitum unless I submit a bug report.

A bit annoying.

Starting panel after gnome starts up, by typing the command into a term, seems to work.

was the panel ever working?

what did you do to your system?

did you upgrade a kernel or change anything?

any ideas what you changes to make it stop working?

or is it a fresh install?
